Day 51 - Evaluations

Today was an extremely long day.  Friend Greg and I started loading up pups at 0900. The puppies let their displeasure of being put into the van and driving to town be known loud and clear
First stop was the vet office which conveniently shares a parking lot with Safeway.
BrownStone bag-lady borrowed a Safeway cart to transport her precious goods.
Koyuk was happy to let Greg play with the puppies while she kept the milkbar up out of reach.
The puppies are quite a bit bigger than their last visit to the vet.
 Careful where you step.
Two hours later a last hug for the vet...
time to wake them ...
 and pack 'em up.
After I returned the cart, we still had confirmation and temperament testing to be done up in Pleasant Hill.
Three judges evaluated the puppies for confirmation and movement both as individuals and in groups.
After that, they were individually tested for temperament. Four hours later, exhausted Greg and I drove exhausted Koyuk and again complaining puppies home. They were starving; had been examined in very private places; started with noises and umbrellas; gotten shots; been held in not always comfortable positions; and now once again riding in the back of a van. Finally they did fall asleep, which is where I am off to.
