Goodbye Mazama and Ms Silver

After Alaka'i (Mr Green) left, the puppies got a couple hours of play in the puppy yard. They have a favorite game that involves the front half of the body under the dog-walk board and the back half vulnerable to attack from above.

Ms Moonsong Silver lying in wait.
Ms Mazama emerging from under the board and  looking for her attacker.
After a brief puppy nap, Mazama'a family showed up from Canada. Six-year-old Ben has waited forever to meet his puppy Bramble.
 Love at first sight.
Mom and Ben met all of the puppies.

Yup - Love at first sight.
BrownStone Muku, Cedar's daughter, Koyuk's sister, already lives with Bramble's forever family. This is the first time I have seen Muku since she left for Canada three years ago.
 She's a beauty.
 Koyuk and Muku
 Puppy pile the next morning.
Koyuk is still nursing. The milkbar drains fast. Bramble and Ms Silver almost missed out.
Some last play while Bramble's forever family packed up.
Not into an early morning smile Ben with Muku.

Last pictures with mom, Bramble, Ben, Cedar and Koyuk.
Bramble's family was kind enough to give Ms Silver a ride back to Moonsong Chinooks in northern Washington. Bramble is now a CaNook. She and Ms Silver have left a huge hole in the puppy pile and my heart.
