Merry Christmas

Twas the night before Christmas when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.
BrownStone Lupin joined our family Christmas eve
The tag games and toy parades you wouldn't believe.
Finally five Nooks were nestled all snug on their beds
While visions of string cheese danced in their heads.
Up at 5 Christmas morning and out the door so swift
For 35 years we never had missed
Cooking Christmas dinner for the entire Ski Patrol.
But this year, with no snow, we found ourselves with no where to go.

Five Nooks in the house, how could you pout?
Dogs to let in. Dogs to let out.
Our day was busy as could be.
Twas a wonderful Christmas all would agree.
