Puppy Love/Father Adoration

Yesterday I got the call: Trask's boy, Rudy needs to learn how to swim. We have only seen the little guy once since he moved to his forever family in Eugene. We set a time for this morning.  Rudy and Tee rode with me in KsBota and the dogs ran up and over the ridge to the back pond.
I had been concerned how Koyuk and Cedar would take to a new dog so I figured that if they were a bit tired from the run, they might be less harsh on Rudy. We let him out and yes the older dogs had to assert their noisy dominance but after a few minutes, Rudy ran beneath the Bota only to exit the other side and dash around behind the three dogs trying to find him in his hiding place. The crafty/gutsy guy was instantly deemed OK by all.
When I looked at the pictures it became evident that every picture I had of Trask also had Rudy looking up to him.
Trask closely watching his son ease into the water.
 Fun and frolic.
 "OK dad, what's next"...
 ...some wonderful new smells.
What a natural bond the two have.
Rudy rode and the other dogs ran back over the ridge to wash off the poison oak oils in the small house pond.  Rudy was not really sure about going in a pond with a drop off but...
floating dog treats were too much to resist.
Too cute and looking just like his father.
 Proud papa Trask.
Trask wanted to clean him off...
 but Rudy wanted to play.
 "See dad. I can swim."
 "Good job."
Now it's time to play again.
The two were really inseparable the entire morning.
Even in the group pose attempts, Rudy was more interested in getting Trask's attention than the off camera treats.
Finally a group shot of Rudy, great-grandma Cedar, pop Trask. grandma Koyuk
Trask howled for over a half hour when Rudy felt - Puppy Love.
