Day 33 Chinook Centennial Litter Pup-date

I wanted to make sure I had all the morning chores completed before I settle with my morning coffee to watch the eclipse, so I passed on blogging last night for a little extra sleep. As I type the sun is trying vainly to shine through a smoky sky. The golden glow is beautiful but not ideal for eclipse aura viewing. We'll see in a little over an hour if it is warm enough to move the pups outside and settle in to listen to the woods go to sleep and reawaken. Other than being cool, I doubt the pups will be impressed with the celestial event.
Day 33 in the life of the Centennial pups was full of love and play. The first guest was our immensely funny, blind, friend Sandy. Kate, no surprise here, was the first pup to seek Sandy out.
Puppy breath, Warm, soft fur. Puppy kisses. Puppy...
 OUCH!
Sandy also became the first victim of the day for puppy teething.
Alarmed by the sound, in rushed Trask to soothe.
Entertaining company is exhausting.
After a brief nap, it's play time, which mostly involves teething on anything or anyone available.
Tule Loowit's family, including grandmother, came for a visit. At first Trask was distraught at the fact that Tule wasn't with them. After waiting by and making sure they hadn't left Tule in the car, Trask rushed into the Pup-pen for the next best thing, Sarah and Greg love.
 Puppy snuggles
The puppies just knew Trask might have something for them.
Sharp teeth on male anatomy, like Sandy's ankle, can cause alarm...
 and a quick exit.
Val joined in the Pup-den party.
Trask decided that being by Sarah and Greg was worth the risk of  milkbar seeking pups
"save me!'
Ah-oh Pup-den exit modifications may soon become necessary.
The eclipse has started. Time to head outside.
