Day 37 Chinook Centennial Litter Pup-date

Well my experiment with a potty-box will not be repeated. First all the paper lining it became tug toys. Then the box itself became a favorite chew toy and was pulled around the whelping condo. To make matters worse, it was cold and damp this morning so the little poopers had to eat breakfast and spend several extra hours indoors.
Breakfast dining area carpeted with extra layers of paper.
The afternoon was in the high 70's and breezy making for a really nice smoke free day. Photo Study of "Sun on Ice Water"
It looked better through the lens.
Once again the Pup-pen was filled with humans much to the delight of the puppies. Everyone got to watch the pups devour dinner. The yellow jackets have become aggressively attracted to the puppy gruel including remnants on humans and puppies alike. Poor Byrd was stung by a yellow jacket going after leftover gruel on his paw. After a lot of individual cuddle time while I was calculating the Benadryl dose in my head, he was back at tormenting his siblings. Fortunately no one else was stung. I have 4 yellow jacket traps hanging in the Pup-pen but scavengers have come from afar.
Trask too got in the attention action.
Nothing in the world is cuter than little girls holding puppies.
Washington was not too sure about the photo shoot.
 Much better.
 K. is so excited she will be getting a puppy to replace the much loved Lupin.
