 Washington (aka Grizzwald - Grizzbear)
 Trask with the puppies
 Nook mayham
 Treadwell (aka Cedar)

The day was perfect for lots of play.
 Treadwell (aka Cedar)
 Treadwell and Byrd
Exhausted puppy-pile with Kate right on top of her brothers
Kerstin made blankets for each of the puppies to take to their forever home. The blankets have my scent along with Koyuk, Trask, Cedar and all siblings - oh and grass from the Pup-corral. The puppies thought the blankets were great tug toys.
 A. giggling at the bottom of a puppy-pile
 K. watching Trask and Koyuk play tug with the puppy's Nemo.
As part of the goal of totally wearing the puppies out and give them new surfaces to play on, we let them run free and explore.
Corralling 6 runamuck puppies proved a challenge even for three adult humans, three dogs and two kids. The puppies took full advantage of their freedom - the excitement added to by two screaming and running girls. Cedar finally got one-on-one time with the pups.
When we thought we had worn them out but still able to stand, we brought them in for a group shot on the mantel.
The photo shoot was a touch-n'-go process of replace a wayward puppy and quickly move out of the frame.

 Success
The first pup left for his forever home. Ullr Sunfall Wind hopefully will be a frequent guest here throughout his life. Of course there was a photo-bomb by Trask checking out the going-home gift bag.
After a very long drive, Kate's (aka Tika) forever family arrived late in the evening (with some nice wine and dinner).
Koyuk getting some lovin' for a job well done.
Puppy howls lead by the big dogs entertained and kept us laughing during dinner. Even the puppies too tired to sit up, tilted back their heads in a full howling serenade. The big dogs enjoyed it so much, what usually is a once an evening, short lived howl-in was repeated several times. Wine, bit of puppy play and everyone crashed for the night.
