Day 63 Chinook Centennial Litter Pup-date

In and out. In and out. The transport of the pups kept me quite busy today between thunder storms. The puppies have discovered the joys of mud. Fortunately Chinook Teflon fur doesn't hold mud for long. To protect the camera, I don't have pictures.

 Lunch in the Pup-corral.
Now for the fun stuff. (I did warn forever families that I would be sharing their notes and pictures - just not children's names.)
BrownStone CNK Century Kate MT - Tika during the ride to her forever home...
and enjoying life with her new big sister Kima.
"Hi Kay Lee, I was absolutely amazed at how relaxed and unphased she was at the vet!  She practically slept through the entire exam!  The girls were cracking up!  Right now Kima and Tika are engaged in a very involved "wrestling match", of which Sean is refereeing for safety as I write you!  Lol!" ~ Kathleen
BrownStone CNK Century Byrd (Mucoy)  "I think we tuckered them out." ~Kurt
BrownStone CNK Century Wind (Ullr)
"He's been great. The second night was rough, he cried and howled for hours - understandably. But that was the only time he did that and he seems to be feeling at home now. Now he only howls and cries in the car. He really doesn't like to drive.. John remembers Lupin being the same way. Again, I don't remember anything.
We love him to pieces - thank you, thank you, thank you again for this wonderful dog.
I also really hope your dogs will be okay soon and didn't get worse!! What a bummer. Never boring at your house....
Best, K"

BrownStone CNK Century Trwell (Cedar)
"Cedar has been taking to life as a engineering pup great and thoroughly enjoys playing in the rain with his new "big brother" Doug and the naps that come afterwards. :) He is also showing signs that he may become one of the rare Chinooks who play fetch, and has been learning "sit" and "down" incredibly fast! I can't imagine trying to contain 2 of them though at this stage, so I'm not surprised to hear Washington and Arthur breached the pup-corral. Hopefully they didn't find anything too smelly to roll in and just had a good romp in the wet grass! "~Anna
