Trask and the Flexi

Until Trask learns basic commands like "sit"; "electric cords aren't tug toys"; and no matter how hard you try, "pillows don't have squeakers", he is confined to either his crate, x-pen or the flexi leash with me at the other end. Between rain squalls, I have been taking him outside to play, explore his world and learn the all important command "potty".
A two second route from me to his present location.
Koyuk's puppy lesson #1: always take time to check out interesting smells.
I tried to take a picture of the four dogs. Trask saw it as a opportunity to lasso the girls (who seem to be telling him: "not funny".)
Trask is finally sitting and facing the right way but after about 20 takes, Koyuk and Cedar lost interest in the photo session.
Koyuk puppy lesson #2: rolling in good smelling stuff is fun.
Everything within reach finds it's way into a puppy mouth.
Flexi indoors. His ears are either set to take flight or adding weight to a headfirst trip down the stairs.
Koyuk puppy lesson #3: Chinook tag. Unfortunately, the big dogs tag Trask so hard he often goes flying. Koyuk seems to be consoling him as she washes his ears.
We have had record rains this weekend. This 5" deep, gallon ice cream tub filled to overflowing in about 36 hours.
The rains are already healing the area used as the puppy play yard.
As play got more vigorous, I switched from hooking to Trask's collar to a harness.
  Hide and seek games.
Oh so much to learn and so many more adventures to come.
