After leaving the narrows, the sun came out and the winds died down somewhat. Showcasing the ship's no-need-for-an-anchor-to-hold-in-place and the rapid zodiac launch systems, faster than we could don our foulies, an adventure on an never before explored beach was put together.
Once on shore. a hike up to the Beech Tree forest was quickly nixed after the first people became mired in thigh deep, muskeg muck. We settled for stretching our legs and searching for interesting rocks and shells - which filled my pockets and later decorated my cabin.
