BrownStone Chinooks is devoted to fostering the excellent health and wonderful temperament of Chinook dogs. Hard-working Chinooks excel in many activities such as agility, obedience, back yard play, hiking, dog powered sports, search and rescue, and as service dogs. The affectionate Chinook is an excellent family dog matching its activity level to that of its companions - be it strenuous exercise or snuggling on the couch.

BrownStone Squirrel

Another weekend at BrownStone. One really stupid and loud squirrel moved into a retaining wall. My three Chinooks spent countless hours over three days determined to get the squirrel. Tons of the namesake BrownStone boulders were displaced.
The dock building materials were stacked against the top of the wall creating more squirrel hiding places and more excited searching.

 "Ha, we'll get the squirrel tomorrow!"
Finally the squirrel escaped to the pile of shingles and I get to add a retaining wall rebuild to my to-do list.
