BrownStone Iditarod Litter 7th (Belated) Birthday

This post actually was started March 14, 2017. Happy 7th Birthday tot he BrownStone Iditarod Litter - Willow, Takotna (Muku), Kaltag, Koyuk, Elim (River) and Nome. The Iditarod racers are celebrating their namesake litter onthe trail with 31 teams not yet to Kaltag; 12 in Kaltag; 13 in Koyuk; 13 in Elim and Mitch Seavey leading 5 other teams closing in on Nome.
Koyuk got to host a birthday celebration with Trask's advanced obedience class.
She came bearing treats and dressed in the Party Pooch scarf.  Koyuk loves to work with me so it was a treat for me too as she was the star pupil.
Later we did the obligatory Vineman Birthday pose.
"Enough! I know there are treats in this for me somewhere else."
Other Iditarod puppies also celebrated with their forever families.
Willow played in the snow.
Takotna (Willow) went for a run.

I truly do wish a belated 7th birthday to each of the BrownStone Iditarod puppies. The love and companionship of mom Cedar and Koyuk have brought so much to my life as I am sure the litter-mates have to their forever families.
