Frosty is now about the size of a soccer ball. The roads are mired in mud. I decided I had better do a trial run to make sure Santa, UPS and FedEx could make it to our house. With Ferrari as my sleigh and my two trusty Nooks, I headed out to pick up the mail and deliver cookies to neighbors.
It doesn't really show, but Cedar and Koyuk have bellys and legs coated with mud.
Much of this mud came directly from canine feet.
As did this mud.
Test run results: Everyone likes cookies. Mail and packages in the bike basket tolerate being speckled with mud. The brown UPS trucks will definitely fair better than the white FedEx vans. And - unless he has a lot of reindeer bath towels, Santa better stick to the air route tonight.
