Nook Fest

Today Koyuk's puppies Alaka'i and Tule Loowit came to visit McKenzie, Lupin, Cedar, Koyuk and Trask. I'm not sure the lifting of the fog was from all the canine activity or Ma Nature but either way, it was welcome.
Getting to know you...
 A blur of 7 Chinooks.
 Koyuk leading the pack.
 Nari and McKenzie
 Constant activity.

  Count 'em - almost 7.
Trask, Alaka'i and Tule Loowit with human parents.
Alaka'i finished off the last of Frosty.
  Tule, Trask and Alaka'i
The pond is still frozen but luckily was not an attraction to the running Nooks.
Mom Koyuk with the three pups.
Grandma Cedar in a rare quiet moment with Alaka'i
Dave tried to put some order to the chaos.
Nooks do like their steak scraps.
As less than 8 week old puppies, they would have crashed solidly asleep long before now but these guys never did slow down. Trask and Alaka'i found the Christmas wrap.
Tule joined in the ribbon tug-of-war
Chewing on each other became more fun.
Warriors Alaka'i and Trask put on quite a show.
I am so fortunate to have forever families who drop in for visits. What I didn't get pictures of were the pups playing in the gray clay muck just prior to leaving and subsequent hasty bath. For four hours, constant play was the order. No nicely posed pictures even attempted today.
