Today I received wonderful photos of River and her family and this note: "River has also started puppy kindergarten with Julie, which is going to be great. She's very confident with the other puppies and owners--in fact, she may be the most confident pup in there. One of the activities we do in class involves introducing the puppies to agility equipment and other large, brightly colored, potentially scary objects. We're told to praise and treat the puppies just for approaching the equipment, which is overwhelming for some pups. River, on the other hand, takes one look at the tunnel and goes galloping through it. She was also climbing up the slide--the largest and scariest item out there--and sliding down it for treats. And all this was on her first day."
