Weekly Weigh-in

Koyuk had her weekly vet weigh-in and measurement today. She now weighs a hefty 72.4 lbs (up from 64.2 bred weight) and has gained 1/2" on her waistline this week. Wednesday she will get an x-ray to count the the heads and spines. (Maybe I should have a lottery).
We are getting close. Tomorrow the house gets rearranged and cleaned for the whelping box and Koyuk will start her every 12 hours temperature checks.
In the meantime it is still unseasonably hot, in the 90's, here. The dogs don't move far from the tree shade.
Last evening I set up the dog pool. Dave and McKenzie both thought it was a good idea.
Cedar just wanted the shade and lovin'.
