Nothing is a one step process around here. After locating and hauling the whelping box down from the attic it was a trip to the hardware store for tac-cloth, varnish, feeding tube syringe and under-the-whelping box tarp. Then with the able assistance of the BrownStone pack, the whelping box was cleaned and sanded.
The first coast of varnish, complete a little dog-fur patina, is now drying while I post and...
Koyuk and Trask are watching for the next treat opportunity while resting in the shade.
The varnish should be dry so outside for the second coat and more treats for the ever hungry Koyuk.
