Alberto de Agostini National Park

We awoke on December 20th cruising down the Agostini Fiord.

The Andes meet the sea in Alberto de Agostini National Park. The magallanes sub-polar evergreen rainforest in park was designated a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 2005. UNESCO highlights the area as a "mosaic of contrasting ecosystems and unique and singular characteristics on a world level." 

The Agostini Fiord, also called the Avenue of Glaciers, is a NW arm of the Beagle Channel and was only discovered in the last century.

I can't imagine a better way to start a day then doing yoga while cruising through "Avenue of Glaciers".

As has been the norm in Patagonia, the weather started cloudy with intermittent sun. The park is classified as "sub-polar oceanic - wet, cold and, windy".  We lucked out with moderate seas; being able to see the mountain tops and; only needing light coats while on deck.
