So glad to be outside! The light is amber from the lingering but higher smoke.
The puppies were frequently cooled off in the pool while Koyuk, Trask and Cedar swam in the pond. They played hard to make up for their confinement time.
Cedar even joined in the playtime.
Proud Grandma Cedar.
Pup-corral chaos.
Koyuk and Cedar supervising the active little ones.
"Mom, can we put them away now?"
Koyuk has given her all to this litter. She has lost all of her undercoat and much of her fur. Unprotected skin is scraped and bruised.
Dinner. This was the first totally dry kibble meal. The puppies ate like it was soggy and way too fast. I got to do my first canine Heimlich maneuver on a choking puppy. It worked great and he happily consumed the bolus he expelled.
All of the Pup-corral toys and obstacles were utilized by the energized pups.
Soaking-wet Trask made a short visit. He is still vary of sharp teeth eager to find something to nurse on.
Koyuk attending to puppies I had just doused in the pool.

The sensory cube got a workout.
Tug-a-war
Oops. The sensory cube crashed over.
No problem. Byrd just continued to tug.
Upright is more interesting.
Washington
Tipped over again. I may have to anchor it upright.
Byrd, like his mother, has adopted the classic Chinook crossed paws pose.
