Day 56 Chinook Centennial Litter Pup-date

Today started with an early visit from a TV repairman who did not like dogs - unfortunately for him the pups serenaded him during much of his work on the TV right next to the whelping box. He did concede that they were cute but a bit loud.
Then came pedicures for the older dogs. Never guess by Trask's face that he just got his nails done by Rachel.
Kerstin came to help wear out the pups before their vet visit and them help with the transport and visit itself. The pups got to ride in the rear kennel.
Me, the bag lady with the pilfered Pup-mobile.
The pups in the vet exam room.
 Kerstin providing comforting words.
The weigh-in between 8.7 lbs - Wind (below) and 11.6 lbs. Kate.
At 11.5, Treadwell was just beat out by his sister.
 "My turn yet?"
The puppies had never experienced linoleum floors so all were set loose to skid around as they explored the exam room floor while waiting for the vet.
A total surprise awaited her as she entered the door.
Each puppy was thoroughly - more thoroughly than many would have preferred - examined and got their shots.
"My turn! My Turn!" Actually the puppies were very quiet but the caption fit the picture. They all even fell asleep at one point.
 Washington
 Kate with the always-in-motion tail.
Byrd, the last but not forgotten.
Time to lead up. The visit is over.
Time to go home and return the pup-mobile  cart to Safeway. Notice Kate's tongue. Everything about that girl is big.
Once home, the puppies were let out of the van to follow us to the back yard. Walking on gravel, going up a flight of stairs, walking on very warm cement and freedom without wall confines was new. All made it to the Pup-corral with just a little human assistance and a lot of encouragement from Trask and Koyuk. This evening they are exhausted. Nary a Roo is coming from the whelping condo.
