Day 59 Chinook Centennial Litter Pup-date

And then there were 5 huddled asleep.
Kate trying to get out of the whelping box as if to comfort mom Koyuk.
"PR" BrownStone CHK Century Kate MT (Tika) went home to California this morning.
A romp with her new sister Kima and Trask was very active and difficult to photograph.
Trask photo-bombing the good-bye picture.
Kate (Tika) with her new parents.
An official picture with Trask on a leash off stage.
The morning got really smoky creating an amber glow. I kept the pups inside (much to their displeasure) until the local air cleared to a "healthy" level. Once outside it was play-play-play. Koyuk is like a puppy again herself. She taunted the pups and Trask with each of the toys.
Poor Nemo will never be the same again.
Tug-a-war is a favorite Pup-corral game. The puppies actually drag a toy in front of another pup to entice the chase and game.
Crab is also a bit worse for wear. Treadwell seems to know it is his though and spends a lot of time chewing on it.
 Three-way tug.
This is about as rested as everyone got. Gone are the play and crash-in-place days.
The puppies LOVE tearing through the tunnel. Koyuk joining in the action.
Crab is in serious trouble of loosing his claws.
 play-crash
Arthur (Toolik) with the now pointless cone.
"No fair!" Smoke blew back in so everyone was transported to the whelping box for a while.
They got to go back out in the evening. As I was carrying the dinner feeding trough, I spotted an escape coup.
The evening was warm so the puppies stayed outside until dark...
and made up for down-time indoors.
Handsome adventurous Byrd. All of the repurposed agility broad-jump boards slant 2" and are set up to teeter-totter. The movement and slope don't bother the pups at all.
 Byrd jumping into action.
Washington (Grizz) with all but dismembered ducky.
 Byrd (Mucoy)
Koyuk is thriving being able to play with the little ones and not worrying about piranhas grabbing the milkbar.
 The puppies adore her.
 They found the squeaker.
Washington (Grizz) looks up to Trask.
 Nemo again in action
 Byrd (Mucoy)
I threw all the scattered toys into the sensory box. Treadwell checking out the selection.
 Byrd made his choice.
 As did Arthur
Trask going for a record of three puppy heads in his mouth at once.

 Byrd (Mucoy)
Koyuk chasing the little ones through the tunnel.
I had tied the broad-jump boards together not expecting the entire structure to be pulled about by the strings. These guys are already exhibiting Chinook strength.

Koyuk teasing the puppies with Crab.
 The entire remaining pack.
Treadwell claiming his Nemo after Trask had jumped out of the Pup-corral with it and I threw it back in.
Of course he had to share.
Dusk and way too many pictures to sort and post (only about 1/10th make it to the blog). The puppies were hauled back indoors. Tomorrow is another sad/happy day of puppies joining their forever homes.
