Day 53 - Lots of Visitors

This morning it was raining so I set-up the covered kennel to hopefully contain the Houdinis. This was their first time in the kennel. I put a board across the door (by the puppy on the right) so Koyuk could get in but the puppies would be enclosed. Hah! Before I had the third puppy moved outside, Koma had climbed the kennel wire wall and was on her way over the board. I caught her before she went crashing down on immature joints then closed the door. Poor Koyuk could only look at her pups through the bars.
Dave and I are in charge of the Willamette Pass Ski Area, Jr. Ski Patrol. We start every ski season with an orientation meeting for patrollers and their parents. It quit raining just before the meeting  The first 8 kids got to carry a puppy from the kennel to the back yard puppy play area. (The others will never be late to a meeting again.)
The puppies entertained until everyone had arrived.
I was asked by Oscar's owners to take some more shots of Pahto and Karuk Even though it was once again raining, before it got dark, Dave held the camera while I tried to stack the reluctant pups.
"Not bad".
 "Nope not going to happen".
