Day 55 - Lots of Moving - Not many Pictures.

The puppies were outside briefly today. Before I could get the inside x-pen area cleaned it started to rain a bit. I quickly got them into the front kennel. While I was transporting, it really started to pour and blow.
Plan C - the mudroom. Everything vulnerable to puppy teeth was thrown onto the counters. Since the puppies can now go over anything Koyuk can go over, the sliding door at the base of the stairs was pulled shut. Two problems: the big dogs could not get to the dog-door thus outside to the kennel; and Koyuk could not get to her puppies.  That is until she pushed down the sliding door. Fortunately no puppies were injured.
While the puppies played and ate, peed and pooped, I tore apart the outside play yard (in the pouring rain) to retrieve the x-pens.

Success! The puppies are indoors, warm and dry. Koyuk can see her puppies. And the big dogs can once again get out the dog door.
The rest of the day was spent on the computer. I make individualized photo albums for the forever families. All pictures from the past 55 days were reviewed for specific and random pictures of each pup. To keep track of what I had moved into the album folder, I had to repeat the process for each puppy. Through the magic of the internet, they are in the que to be processed at Costco as I type. Now to go move the puppies into the living-room x-pen; clean the mudroom floor and sit down with a glass of wine while watching the puppies play.
