Day 61

Day 61 was stormy so the puppies were confined to the indoors. The day started with hauling the puppies downstairs to the mudroom from their sleeping x-pen in the living room. With fewer and fewer trips to make, I am going to have to find another method of getting exercise.
Trask hosting breakfast for four.
Soon Koma's forever family arrived. They immediately moved right in to the puppy play area where Jim learned first hand about a favorite puppy chew toy: shoe laces. These little sneaks can untie one shoe before you can get the other retied. Double knots just add a couple of seconds to the process.
Koyuk joined the puppies providing a quick lunch.
Jim and Elaine had brought a bag of toys for the puppies. Jim's shoes got a reprieve as the puppies chased around with each new treasure.
Koma relaxing.
Trask and Koma.
I am so proud to announce that these guys have been paper trained since week 4. While I was setting up to take a picture of the good-night puppy pile, Loowit left for a pee, leaving room for the others to stretch out.
