Count the Whelps

The whelp x-rays were done today. Click on the images to enlarge and see how many whelps you can count. I added arrows and X's for parts I could distinguish and ? for questionable heads. Some heads I could only find by following spines. If you look closely, you can see the head, spine, ribs, pelvis and hind legs of the three in the lower right. Last night's second dinner is obscuring the view in the middle section. The vet's best guess is that there definitely are 5 pups in there. There probably are 6 pups in there. There maybe 7 or even 8 pups in there. The pups are huge. We may take another x-ray on Monday to see if we can get a more accurate count.
