Cascade Litter Day 9

Last night was cold and sleepless. I wanted to make sure Ms Silver got her share of time at the milkbar so, hourly when Koyuk went in to nurse I sorted out the puppy pile and put Ms Silver at the head of the line. I also added a heat pad to the whelping box.
Breakfast time for everyone, including Koyuk
The day brought a lot of visitors.
Larry and granddaughter Mia.
Sandy, who is blind, got a special thrill handling the little ones.
I think Ms Orange just peed on Mia.
McKenzie and Cedar are feeling very left out of all the attention.
Karmin brought her dad Craig . He was convinced that the pups could fit inside his cargo pant pockets and he could slip out with a couple. Not with the watchful eye of Koyuk.
Ms Moonsong Silver fits in my hands.
Orange and Pink resting on Karmin's arm.
McKenzie on her stair landing perch.
 Afternoon puppy pile.
Drying the days whelping box linens in the lavender scented breeze - what a joy of a summer litter.
