Day 29 - Lots of Visitors & Adventures

Pahto fell asleep during his 0400 breakfast.
The after breakfast, after play, group crash.
Kate, Zylie and Alex came to meet the latest BrownStone litter. Zylie was 2 and Alex 4 when they took home McKenzie's daughter BrownStone Tillamook.
This morning Loowit mastered the stand-on-the-pigrail-over-and-out-of-the-whelping-box technique. Since I am confident the others will soon follow suit, I took off the cushy seats and placed an x-pen around the back to avoid anyone from falling between the wall and whelping box. I then strung up toys of different colors and textures. They are low enough to be played with but high enough to stay out of the inevitable pee and poo on the floor.
It started to rain after Kate and family left so I brought the pups in to try out their improved digs. The pups had a blast with their toys and the dogs and I had a blast watching them play.
Shortly afterward the maillady came in to check out the little ones.
This afternoon brought a special treat. Laura was in my Camp Fire Group and is now a nuclear physicist somehow tracking deep space movements with south pole ice crystals. She tried to explain. I quickly got lost, but as always remained impressed by her.
The discussion of neutrinos did not put the pups to sleep but playing with Laura sure did. These guys are moving so fast these days that sleeping is the only time I can get good pictures.
We decided to take the opportunity of a puppy low energy period to do the week four pictures. These guys go from out cold to full speed ahead faster than I can type it. While trying to take Loowit's picture, Koyuk grabbed her moose and ran off with it. Loowit followed and took advantage of the milkbar while Koyuk attempted to un-stuff the moose.
Meanwhile the other pups zeroed in on the pile of photo animals and ran off with their booty following mom Koyuks example.
(PETA, no animals were harmed during this photo session)
I left the pups way out in the yard while I carried in the stuffed animals. By the time I got back to the door Loowit then Klah mastered the two steps to the threshold. I was not expecting them to climb stairs yet.
The real agility equipment is about to come out for these strong, fearless, adventurous pups. They are ready.
